Phyllis - I noticed your "Aloha". By that, I take it you're in the Hawaiian Islands? I was stationed on Oahu from 76-79 with the Coast Guard. Not that this means anything, but I remember getting a call one day from someone asking about my lineage. If I remember correctly, it was from one of the English Gatters.
My son-in-law's sister is married to a local, and they currently live & work on the Big Island. It's a very small world, and shrinking more all the time...
Anyway, I wish you luck in your search for the "Valentine" thread.
