I really don't know how much I can help because I too am estranged from my family but I might be able to help as I am one of the Gatten's from Carlisle, PA. I came across your message today and was a little shocked because I have not been able to find any information on my family. My grandmother was part indian (also Cherokee) and possiblly my grandfather but he died when I was younger, he too was estranged from the family. Please contact me and perhaps we can help each other out!
