Yes, my grandfather Theodore R. Gatling was from Rich Square. It's a small, small town with a single traffic light to manage the two highways. It's the only traffic light around, for the only 'town' around. It is nice, peaceful, quiet.
There are a few Gatlings left in Rich Square. I live in New Jersey. He came here during the great migration. There are more Rich Square Gatlings in New York.
Rich Square is also near where intentor Richard J.Gatling is from, Hertford County, NC.
