Roy, would you be related to the Roy L. Gatling who was born March 21, 1918 and died July 8, 1977 in McAllen Co. TX? He may be the sister of Jean Margaret Gatling who married Fred Phillps, Jr. Fred died in McAllen but I believe Jean to still be living. Jean and Roy's mother may have been Marguerite F. Gatling, maiden name unknown. She also died in McAllen. Does any of these names sound familuar? I am researching the Phillips family that Jean Gatling married into and looking for info on these two families.
