Information I have shows that Susan Gatewood was born about 1837 in Bath Co., Va. She married William Taliaferro in 1850.
Susan was the daughter of Samuel Vance Gatewood and Eugenie Massie.
Siblings of Susan Gatewood were:
1 Mary Pleasant Gatewood, born about 1840, Bath Co., Va.
2 Andrew Cameron Lewis Gatewoos, born 1844 Bath Co. Va., died 1919. Married Mary S. Warwick in 1869
3 William Bias Gatewood, born 1846 Bath Co., Va. Believed to have died about 1850.
4 Filmore S. Gatewood , born and died before 1850.
5 Thomas M. Gatewood, born 1853 Bath Co., Va. Died before 1860.
