I would like to know the parents of George W. Gates, born: 23 August 1844.
He died on 21 February 1922. I would also like to know if he had
any siblings. He married Julia Tallamdge on 25 February 1869. their
children were: Walter N. Gates, 18 Dec. 1869; Edith S. Gates, 6 Sep. 1871;
Elmer E. Gates, 23 March 1873; Myrtle Gates, 12 Nov 1874; and Albert Gates, 3 November 1879.
George W. Gates enlisted in the 5th Cavalry, Company G, on December 30, 1863.
