Noah Gates, b. 5 Nov 1766, Fairfield County, CT. Married to Abigail, date unknown. Noah is my gr,gr,gr grandfather. At time of his fathers estate probate,in the Probate Court in MAlta, Saratoga County, NY, 4 May, 1820, his minor children: Hiram; Ashbel (my gr gr grandfather); William and Abigail were represented by their appointed Guardian.--I would like to know why, their father Noah wasn't at the probate hearing. Had he died or had he relocated? What happened to Ashbel's siblings, Hiram, William and Abigail? Where is Noah buried?
