Miss Amanda Gates married Feb. 27, 1870 Jasper Co MO to A.W. Louis. Amanda Gates b. 1851 is probably the daughter of Jackson Gates b. 1808 GA. Jackson Gates lived and died in Jasper Co MO. Amanda and Abbelow W. Lewis listed in 1870 Jasper Co MO census. She is not listed in 1870 in her father's household. 1900 census they are listed in Maricopa Co AZ. 1910, 1920 & 1930(Boone listed as widowed) CA census. He is called Boone/Boon Lewis in later censuses. 1900 Maricopa Co AZ census states Amanda had 1 child born/1 child living but no child listed with them. Haven't found them in 1880. Boone Lewis b. Jan 1847 IL and Amanda b. Sept 1851 IL. Boone Lewis has several birth places listed in the censuses: Indian Territory in 1870, 1900 IL, 1910 IL, 1920 OK, 1930 IL. Anyone doing research on this family? Would like to know child's name and Boone's parents. Thanks. Jane
