Hi Rosemary,

I believe that the Jonathan Brooks and Mary Gates in your message are my ancestors. My great grandmother was Rebecca Brooks. She married Henry Stanley Parsons and they lived in Colesberg, Iowa. I found a tree at ancestry.com that links Rebecca to this family. I am hoping that you can help me determine if this is true. Rebecca was born about 1837 in Ohio and died in 1915 in Nebraska.
