MY info on Jessie Franklin Gates is as follows:
born 1 May 1877 in MO, probably Lawrence Co. Father was Michael C. Gates, mother Rachel Percey Previtt. Jesse married Minnie Lee Wright, born about 1882, died 1961, buried at the Sharum Cemetary in Randolph Co AR. They had the following children:

Mary Jane b 21 Oct 1893 died 20 Sep 1895, buried Sharum
Lillie ?
Avery Franklin b. Sep 1908 d. 19 Apr 1959
married Carrie Lucille Whitford
Athel Amos "Humpy" b. 22 Jan 1913, d 12 May 1981, Married Ethel Thornsberry
David ?
Avery and Athel are both buried at the Masonic Cemetary in Randolph Co
