I am seeking info on "the widow Gates Hathorn" of Eddington, ME.
(taken from the book by Ames and Thayer; "Brewer,Orrington-Holden, Eddington, history and families")
She was b Hannah Mann and married Oliver C Eddy in Eddington 2 May 1810. The marriage info gives her name as Hannah Hathorn.
I noted both the Gates and Hathorn names in your message and wondered if her name came up in your research. I believe the Oliver Eddy she married was the grandson of Jonathan Eddy for whom the town of Eddington was named.
