Nancy Gates in Georgia & Miss 1780s

Hello group

I'm looking for more info on Nancy Gates of Georgia, b abt 1780 and was married to William Cothern, b abt 1780 probably from NC. They settled in Pike Co. Miss around 1810 and had the following children:

John J. Cothern, b 1809
Elijah cothern
Levi Cothern
Sina Cothern
Ananias William Cothern, b 1824
Andrew Jackson Cothern, b 1826

I know this isn't much, but it's all I have. I'm really looking for any leads I can get. If anything rings a bell or even if anyone has any hints of the "Gates" surname in Georgia during the mid to late 1700s, that I can investigate, it would be a help.
