Looking for the descendants of Paulina Gates,
Paulina Was the daughter of the Great Great Grandfather from Virginia, She was born in Tennessee as the family traveled from there home in Rockbridge county Virginia. They found a home in Murray County Georgia And Paulina worked as a servent for Clerk of the Seperior Court in Murray County abt 1860 she saw 15 yrs old. She married Peter Austin Gates in Gilmer County Georgia (possible Ellijay) Then Moved to Searcy Arkansas around
Batson Mountain. She Had an Uncle there he was James Leferret Knick also born in Tennessee and lived in Murray County Georgia for some years before moving to Arkansas. She must have had children and grand children.My grand mother was a Knick. If you have any info please E. Mail me. Brenda
