I am apologizing for not contacting you or Robert sooner. One month is a long time. I had priorities in my way. Tax time and paperwork everywhere because of our small business. I accidently deleted your e.mail. There was alot of e.mails and I didn't recognize yours, virus' and all.
Made a mistake regarding Anna Gates. She was my aunt not my great aunt. I talked to my mom and she corrected me. I have the photo of Anna and her husband Charles Cecil celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in Jan. 20, 1964 in Riverside, CA. On the back of the photo is states that they were married in Kokomo Indiana.
I also have a photo of my grandfather, Rolly Leroy Gates with his second wife(name not sure) in Riverside, California. His first wife was Barbara Potter.
My father Leroy Rolly Gates' parents were Rolly Leroy Gates and Barbara Potter. I have the papers of the will left by Barbara's father after his death.
I was told that Rolly Leroy Gates died in California in the 60's but I noticed on the chat that a date of 9-9-59 was shown. That sound about correct. The pic I have of my grandfather Rolly, his wife(name not sure), me, my sister, my brother(age 6 mo. and he was born 1958)and my mom in Riverside, CA.
I hope this letter is not full of gramatical errors. I am rushing abit. So much to do. I wish I had more leisure time.
I don't have a scanner, maybe I'll look into one. It'll probably take time, knowing how some things take time. I could send it to you. I and my siblings are interested too, and I'm going to fax them the chats and e.mails from you and Robert.
