Dick Wood’s GASTON tree FROM JEAN TO DICK Completed 7/3/2009 Good evening Gaston cousins. I have made a list of my Gaston ancestors. I am calling it a list because I think this is my best effort to link Dick Wood with John Jean GASTON of Scotland. Although a couple of the links still need to be reinforced. But, I am hoping that those of you who had ancestors come from Ireland to New Jersey to/through northeast Pennsylvania will review the “list” and give me your comments. I consider the list a dynamic document. The list has been an effort of great enjoyment and some frustration, which covered about a 12+-year span (part time) for me. There are an awful lot of people who provided to me information, encouragement and direction. I sincerely thank all of you, especially Bill and Patrick Gaston, Mitch Eickmann, Sylvia Kralik, Marshall Lake, Bret Ankrom, Joyce Reece and Carol Meadows. There are many others, too numerous to list, I thank them also. To those of you that used some of my old posts, and found out they were suspect, I apologize to you. My next GASTON efforts are to identify and enter into my genealogy computer program, The Master Genealogist, all of the sources used in gathering the information needed to make the “list” and to find out where I saw that William (KBI)’s wife name was Ida.
