Yes, she was a wonderful person. Saw her about a year before she died. Great sense of humor. I owe her a lot, she help me establish my family line to James Gaston. I helped her with many contacts in Randolph County, Alabama.
We believe Robert's middle name may have been Hugh. Robert and Samuel Burns (SB) Gaston were close. SB's first son, my great-great grandfather, was Robert "Hugh" Gaston. We think he named hom so in honor of his brother, Robert.
