Mitchell,

I've spoken with her - she's recouperating from a cold and
ear infection at the moment. She wants to get in touch with a couple other French people she knows but the story
gets REALLY interesting - hope it doesn't fizzle. She pulled a map and made a copy - she asked for Gastonie and it came up with a map of the very area I spoke of earlier - but further explained it was a port city near Lorient and the arrows were at the site she requested BUT there was no name of a town there! Still it indicated that Gastonie did exist there at one time. Why would arrows point to a place requested otherwise? Perhaps this town was destroyed in later wars. Unfortunately she couldn't seem to get back at all to what she had called out, it had been some time ago that she had looked for this info. Fortunately, she has the map that printed out from her initial try.

There was more but I'll let her explain it - may be a week though. She agreed to add to the forum.

By the way, when I looked for Gastonie, it also pulled up
Gastonie, NC. (The spelling is as it showed up in the French version). I couldn't come up with this map she had
found so I also am waiting for a copy.

Cheryl
