My paternal grandfather was Rev. Stuart Franklin Gast, Sr., son of Franklin I. Gast (b. 1868, d. May 11, 1923 Lancaster PA). Franklin I. Gast m. Sara Jane "Jennie" Vogan (b. 1867 d.1920). Frankln was the eldest male of six children. Franklin's parents were William Henry Gast, b. 8/11/1842 and Sarah Jane Mullen Gast, b.3/27/1845. That is as far back as I can go. Franklin and Jennie both died, orphaning Stuart Franklin Gast at the age of 14. He lived thereafter with his Aunt Winifred Vogan. Thanks for sharing.
