I am Donald Paul Gast, originally from Dayton,OH. I was born 07-25-1954.I am looking for my father who I don't know. My mother was seeing a Dayton bus driver until she found out he was already married. Once she found out she quit seeing him, she did not ask anything of him, other than to leave her alone. My interest in him is strictly for family history. I don't want to cause any problems between him and his family. My mothers name was Mary Elizabeth Gast also from Dayton, OH. She passed away in 1978. I never thought to ask her about him because, she was a terrific mother and I didn't think I needed a father. Now I am almost 50 years old, I think about these things. The other members in my family don't remember his name, or won't say because of a promise they made to my mother, I think a little of both. I know this isn't much to go on, but thats all I have.
