Thanks,Earleen. I recall our correspondence on this list a few years ago. Wondering nowadays if the three generations of Benj, John and Patrick might had any brothers who remained in Ireland. The large Gass families of Markethill in the 1800's are not too far from the Bann river in Armagh and my folks at Corernagh were even closer. The peculiar thing is that both Patrick's line and our family had a woman with the unusual( for the Scots-Irish) name of Prudence...but they were a century apart!
