Gaskin(s) from South Carolina
It all started with Ezekiel E. Gaskin receiving a land grant from the King of England. His brother may be Amos.He had two wives, one in Williamsburg, and Tallitha Graham who he moved to Kershaw Co. with.I am from the Ezekiel/Tallitha line.Their child Thomas Gaskin, born March 19, 1796 is my GGG Grandfather. Most of the Gaskin(s)to my knowledge were clustered in Flat Rock Township, Kershaw Co., South Carolina and Williamsburg Co, South Carolina.Pickens Co., AL is another highly mention place. Our Gaskin(s) moved to different counties in SC, as well as North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Colorado, California, in other words, just about everywhere.Gaskin and Gaskins are the same people. If you check the census, the same info. is listed under the same names, just with an "s" added.Apparently there was some sort of dispute about the different spellings.Regardless, we are all somehow related.Let us find each other. My email address is [email protected]
