I'm curious as there's going to be a family reunion in Victoria, Texas this month.

From everything I've heard, and according to the Federal Census of 1870,the Gaskin Family came on the scene with Charles Gaskin, born 1833 in Virginia,who married Nancy Watt Gaskin, born in 1843 in Virginia. Somehow, they ended up in Jackson County Texas according to the 1880 Federal Census for Texas. Any info/comments would be appreciated. Thanks,
