I have listed a William Gaskin b.1836 to parnets Samuel Gaskin and Mary Anne Humprey. I have him married to Ellen O'Loughlin. I had childre listed as being: Raynor Colin, Elva Marjory, Eric William, Noel Lancelot, Gavin James & Amelia Ann.
I have been sent a newspaper clipping which lists:
The Evening Post 18th July 1978 which shows ...
Gaskin Mary Elizabeth, of 52 Allington Road, Karori; in her 94th year. On July 14th, 1978, at her home, Lizzie, dearly loved wife of late Bill, loved mother of Ray and Dora, Elva and Jim Lines, Gavin and Joan, and nana of 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and sister of Mabel Jackson (Auckland). privately cremated at Karori today. Which means that I may have listed the wrong William and his marriage to Ellen O'Loughlin or it is another William married to Mary Elizabeth? Can anyone help sort me out and help me place the William married to Mary Elizabeth in the correct line.
