I, too, am descended from James P. and Agnes Barkley Gaskin, through their son, Samuel Perry. Samuel and his family migrated to Louisiana and somehow the Gaskin name was changed to Gaston. Samuel was married to a Catherine Morris, they are my great-grandparents. I know that they settled in Natitoches Parish and are buried there somewhere. I have been unable to find anything on them in Louisiana. If anyone knows anything I would greatly appreciate it.
