Patrick,
In the 1850 census Aaron Brantley is living next to Cordy Gaskins, and in the 1860 census he is living in the household with Cordy Gaskins. Maybe he is Elizabeth's father, not sure. Aaron was born in 1789 in Georgia and his wife Dicy was born in 1790 in NC. In the 1850 census there is a Martha 30, Lovett 22, and Hardy 55, all born in NC and all living with Cordy Gaskins. Cordy also had a son names Jasper N. born in 1842. Not sure is Jasper and Cordy are same or not. I will check the Washington Co. marriage records for Gaskins and Brantley.
