Dear Roger,
I just came across Cordy Gaskins yesterday in a 1860 census site. I noticed that he had two daughters in 1860, one named Louisa, age 2, and the other named Ann, age 6. My great-grandmother was Louise Ann Gaskin(s). She was born July 12, 1856, suppposedly in Atlanta. Her father or mother was from North Carolina. She married Ambrose Bramlette Holsapple of Albany, Clinton Co., KY on June 3, 1894 in Albany. Supposedly he met her when he took some cattle to Georgia. If all these dates are correct, my g-grandmother would have been born between Cordy's two daughters, but if there is an error (very likely), then one of these two little girls could be my g-grandmother. Can you shed any light on this? I know nothing about my g-grandmother before her marriage other than what I wrote. Thanks
