Emmett -- Sorry that I may not be able to help you too much. I am just resuming research after about an 8 year lull. I have been advised that I am related to Wright through his son James (presumably James Millard GASKIN) but I have not been able to convince myself of the connection. There is a R.H. GASKIN that shows in the 1850 Ramer, Montgomery Co., Alabama census, could this be a older child of Wright (and mispelled as Right)?
