Robert, I must have missed your response. But you have information on my William married to Melinda that I didn't have, including her maiden name.
I am descended from James P. Gaskill son of William and Marry (Mary was the first wife and died around 1850 or so)
I did get the notice of death from Mary and the marriage listing for Melinda?
William had a daughter named Hester age 13 in 1860 daughter of Mary.
I have looked for this William after the 1860 census and have not found a thing?
The William found in Fairmount WV is definately descended from Morgan. (
Koleda has the William of Fayette City died May 12 1906
but this is the death date of the other William in Fairmount WV (I saw the obit/death cert)
If you know anything further on the William that was in Fayette City in 1860 or other family members, I would certainly be interested.
No wills, deeds, information past 1860 etc.
