I have found them in the 1880 census in Republic County, Kansas. James Gaskill died and is buried at Vermillion, Marshall Co., Ks. Some descendants lived in the Beloit, Belleville, Munden area.
James was born in Clinton Co., Ohio. He also lived in Montgomery Co, Ind, Polk Co, Iowa, Boone Co. Iowa and Thayer Co. Ne.
His first Wife was Rebecca Keziah Griffee, second wife was Rebecca's aunt, Mary Dooley. Third wife Mrs. Catharine Gray.
