Thanks Larry for your answer. I am the person who paid to have James Gaskill take the DNA test. I recently returned from a genealogy trip to Missouri and Tennessee still searching for the parents of Robert J. Gaskill, with no results. Have spoken a few times with Harold as he too is a match to James, who is my 3rd cousin. I'm not sure I really understand this DNA testing, as I don't feel I know anything more than I did before paying for the test. If you run into any leads, I'd sure like your help. I believe Robert J. had a sister Stacena and a brother J.E. Gaskill. Robert J. was in Tennessee by 1809, at the age of 19. I'm convinced his parents stayed in Virginia. My Gaskill line is on rootsweb under Lindylou52. I am now working on a picture pedigree chart with all the lastest information and pictures obtained from my trip. I will repost soon under Lindylou62. I have been working on this line for eleven years. Thanks again, Lindy
