Hello Nadine
I only joined the forum a couple of days ago looking for someone else and tonight perusing the family surnames. Gascoyne is a family name and I can tell you we are related!
William and Mary Gascoyne were my great grandparents. Dorothy, one of their daughters, was my grandmother. My mum Delia is still living and is Dorothy's daughter. Mum helped me initially with all the names to get me started and I recall her saying that she had very fond memories of her 'Uncle Sol', as he was known.
Let me know how I can help.
Best Regards
Sandra
