Hello Bob, no you won't have James, he is only 9 now and his dad was an adoptee so isnt really a Gascoigne,but this is the only grandparents he knows on his dads side so wanted to do it. What I have is John born 1799 Rawdon, it was another researcher who said that your William was his brother but I havnt checked this as yet, I am not sure about his parents, one option was John about 1777 and Sarah. We are hoping to get to Leeds during the school holidays to dig through the records. John 1799 aproximately married Sarah Proctor at Guiseley in 1823, and his son Eli married Sarah Ann Emmett who was born 1843, the only one I have found so far was the illegitimate daughter of Ann, spelled Emmott, Ann was born 1821 and if it is the right one was the daughter of Samuel and naomi. By the way, if you want me to keep an eye out for anything in the parish records please let me know.
