Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

You could try and find the death certificates of your parents. On the death certificate will be further details about them. If you know where they were married you could look for their marriage certificate which will list their parents (your grandparents) names, occupations and the marriage witnesses, who you may be able to trace. All libraries carry books on how to do family searches. Good Luck.
