Poking around familytreedna.com

Try this:

Play around with familytreedna.com until you:

1 Find out how many Gassaways are members of the Gasaway Project.

2. Find the members' pedigrees.

3. Find the chart listing the values of a members Y markers.

I am Clif Gazaway.
I am very present on the web. When you Google search for Gazaway DNA you always find me. Some Google-ers might mistakenly think I was an expert on the subject of DNA. I am not an expert. I am still very confused about how to do DNA genealogy research on the internet!

My web presence is due to my extreme enthusiasm and committment, rather than my knowledge.

I find no DNA Test web site that is easy to use. Not one.

Right now I am playing with the Family Tree DNA website.

My first question:
How many persons, with Gasaway in their pedigree, are participating in Family Tree DNA projects?

I started out at:
http://www.familytreedna.com

I poked around untili I got to:
http://www.familytreedna.com/surname-projects.aspx?let=G&projecttype=S

where I found:

Project names beginning with: " G "
Project Members Description
...
Gay 40 The Gay Family DNA Project encourages researchers to find th...
Gazaway/Gasaway 3 Finding family origins and new cousins are two benefits of p...
Gebhart 2 The Gebhart Family Project encourages researchers to find th...
...
That page indicated there were three members of the Gazaway/Gasaway Project.

Next I found:
http://www.familytreedna.com/public/gazaway-gasaway/default.aspx?section=results

with the following info. It was not immediately obvious what or who this was about. It was apparently a partial pedigree for one of the three members trhat I noted above.

ID 71592* (Group A)
1.Likely) Thomas Gazaway b. unknown
+ Patsy Walker
2.Jesse Gazaway bc. 1793 Stokes Co. NC
+ Ellender ?
3.Henry H. Gazaway bc. 1830 I think in DeKalb co.AL.
+ Ruanna Barnes
4.William Tyson Gasaway b. 1873 Ballwin MS.
+ Etta Payne
5.Doris Rufus Gasaway b. 1909 near Prescott Ark.
+ Helen Cox
6.Steve Milton Gasaway b.1937 Houston Tx.

I poked around some more and found:
http://www.familytreedna.com/public/gazaway-gasaway/default.aspx?section=yresults

DNA test results for two participants are shown on that page. One participant is Gasaway Kit # 71952* (or is it 71592*)Gasaway. The other participant is Allison. Is there a third, anonymous, paricipant?

* Please note the dscrepancy in kit numbers. Apparently the 5 and 9 has been transposed in error.
