DNA. How to use YSearch.org
"Gazaway-DNA Beginners Study Group".
I am beginning to learn to use ysearch.org for seeing Gazaway DNA results. This is how I did it.
Step 1. I clicked on the following URL:
http://www.ysearch.org
The welcome page came up.
Step 2. I clicked on
"Search by last name",
The ""Search by last name" page came up.
Step 3. I typed "Gassaway" in tne
"Search for these last names." box
and clicked on the "Search" button.
The Results page appeared.
Step 4.
The Results page showed the number "8" indicating that 8 pedigree charts for Gassaway were available.
Step 5. I clicked on "8" and a list of the eight pedigree charts appeared. The heading for the list was:
"Compare * User ID * Pedigree * Last Name *Ancestor * Origin *Haplogroup * Tested With"
One of the eight items was:
" NPHSG * Show * Allison * Allison/Allanson * London, England *Unknown * Family Tree DNA "
Step 6.
I clicked on "Show" and the Alison pedigree chart appeared.
The tenth and eleventh generaton were Susannah /Gassaway/ and her father Nicholas /Gassaway/
