John, this may be a pretty long reach but my ggg grandfather, Jesse Gazaway, b. 1793 NC, d. c1852 AL, had a son,William, who in 1859 was deceased and his children whose names and ages were not known were living in AR.I obtained this info from Jesse's probate court records.Another possibility obtained through conversations with some of the Gazaway's in Tishomingo Co., MS revealed a legend that a John Gazaway of Tishomingo Co. died in the Civil War and that his widow and children moved to AR from Tishomingo Co., MS. There were at least 3 of Jesse's grandchildren who moved from MS to AR after 1880, Sarah E. Gazaway Cummings, William Tyson Gazaway (my g grandfather), and Tilden Gazaway.Unfortunately, none of them had children with the same names as your folks.
