VICTORIA GARZA

I am interested in trying to find any information on Maria Victoria Delagarza who has been listed in the 1880 census as Victoria Garza married in Nueces County Texas in 1855 to Jacinto V. Ramos.

My great, great grandfather Jacinto V. Ramos was kidnapped by the the Comanche Indian tribe and lived with them for two years. The Comanche Indian tribe members were fascinated by Jacinto's blond hair and blue eyes which the Indians had never seen. Jacinto lived with the Comanche Indians for about several years.

Stories handed down through the family told that Victoria Garza was a member of the Garza Indian tribe residing in near San Antonio in the 1860's.

The tribes name was later changed to Malaguita.
