I'm looking for information on my GGGrandmother's parents. Her name is Manuela Valerio (as shown by her marriage certificate with Marin Alanis), but I have been told that her last name could have been De La Garza. I am assuming that her mother's name was De La Garza since they take on their father's last name and mother's last name. So, she might have gone by Manuela Valerio De La Garza. Manuela and Marin gave birth to a daughter, Leocadia Alanis in 1873. They lived in Texas but I believe she was born in Mexico. Any information (birth, death, parent's names, etc) would be greatly appreciated!!!
