My gg grandfather's name was Pedro de la Garza. He is not the Pedro you are looking for as he was born in the mid to late 1800's. However, since parent's have the custom of passing on ancestor's first names to their children, their is a chance that some relationship exists. Pedro's father was Albino de la Garza from Allende, Nuevo Leon. He married Dolores Tamez and had seven children: Pedro, Dolores, Atanacio, Eulogio, Ines, Rita, and Eusebio. Pedro came to settle in Harlingen, TX. I do not know about the rest of the family.
