I read in another message that the first Garza settled in Monterrey,MX in 1569. i know that my grandfather Andres Garza was born in Monterrey. his father was Pedro Garza Flores and his mother was Maria Luisa Alejandres. my great-grandfather was of a wealthy family and owned much of downtown Monterrey. Maria Luisa's parents were Juan Alejandres and Crecencia Quesada.I got this information from my grandmother who also has Garza in her family line.
