This is the most information that I have found concerning the Garza name. My understanding is that Garza originated from the sur name Garcia. I wonder if that is true. I would appriciate any other infornmation you might have. My relative are from Monterry and Cienega De Flores. I was also told from my older relatives that French and Jewish besides Spanish, is part of the Garza sur-name. Thanks Rudy
