"Sunday School Known as 'Sunshine Band' in Prosperous Condition
WARSAW, Ind., September 19--Kosciusko Co. has a sunday school, the treasury of which shows a balance of $518.24. The class, which is a part of the Fairview Brethren Church, on the north bank of Yellow Creek Lake, near Claypool, is known as the 'Sunshine Band.' There is an average attendance of 40 pupils. Miss Hattie Dreitzler is the teacher. There is also a president, secretary, and treasurer. The class was organized by Mrs. John Bartman, now of Columbia City, and in a short time she increased the attendance until the 'Sunshine Band' is now the largest Sunday school class in the county, not barring the various Sunday schools of the city. The combined attendance of the Fairview Brethren Church Sunday school sometimes exceeds 200 persons."

Doris Bromley Dreitzler, 86, of Noblesville, mother of former Bluffton resident Donald Dreitzler, died on Oct. 7 in Noblesville.
She was the widow of Marion Dreitzler. In addition to the son, who is now a resident of Lexington, Virginia, she is survived by one daughter, Diana Wright; two sisters, Margaret Penwell and Francis Colquist; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Christ Lutheran Church in Noblesville with graveside services and burial today, Oct. 11, in the Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

"George Garvin of South Bend was awarded the custody of his son Ralph, aged 1, who had made his home with his aunt, Alice Garvin of Claypool. The parents of the boy are divorced, and for a time the child resided with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Garvin, near Claypool, but Mr. Garvin died, and Mrs. Garvin was sent to the penal farm for violating the liquor laws."
