Hello Scott,i have something interesting, although it may not directly connect to your info. you posted.About years or so back,a group of people from Colorado came through our small town. They were taking pictures of our house,I went out and talked to them.it turns out that this gentleman,a Luaren Garvin, was here in the area to look at the old homestead-my house. He told me that his grandaprents built the house in 1910.This guy was maybe in his 70's at the time,he said his dad, unsure the name, had played on the property when little.Lauren didn't tell me what the first names of his grandparents are,but they are buried in the local cemetery.I'm not sure if his dad had other siblings or not.If you know anything about some Garvins that were in the south central area of Kansas at the turn of the century, please let me know.I would like to know who built this old house that still stands.Salena Rotz [email protected]
