Looking for any info on my mother's family:
My ggrandfather, William John Leonard (?-1922), married Isabella Garvie Chisholm (1861-1938) about 1887. They lived in Carfin, Lanarkshire, Scotland, where they had 7 children. Isabella took the 3 surviving children and moved to Boston in 1920.
Garvie seems to be a family name, being passed on in the female line, but I can't seem to find any info on this possible link.
