My grandmother was Ada Theresa Garvey and my mother's name is Thurza Josephine. Ada had three children, Mary, Ernest and Thurza. Mary died when she was only fifteen. My mother Thurza is still alive and lives in Kent, England with my father. My mother is 78 years old.
I didnt hear much about my grandmothers siblings except Mary. Mary was my grandmother's youngest sister she was very close to. Mary came out to Australia ( in the late sixties) when she was about sixty years old with her second husband and went to live with her daughter Pat who had been living in the opal mining town Lightening Ridge. I dont have Mary's daughter's married name.
I have since spoken to my mother on the phone about her auntie Mabel and she only has a few memories of her as Mabel apparently was living further away from my mother and grandmother. My mother also remembers Arthur (well travelled)
