We chronicle this week a most unusual birth announcement, the birth of three babies to two sisters on the same day. Monday morning an eight pound daughter was born to MR. and MRS. EARL HOWELL of Leon, and Monday evening twin babies, a seven pound boy and a five pound girl, were born to MR. and MRS. M.L. GARTON, of Weldon, the babies being named LYLE LEE and MARY MARIE. MRS. HOWELL and MRS. GARTON are sisters, MRS. HOWELL being formerly MISS VIE STOVER. The happy parents are receiving congratulations from their friends. Another peculiar thing is that the same Leon Physician officiated at both homes, although they are twelve miles apart.
