IMPORTANT DEAL
Joe Gartner Becomes Owner of a
Valuable Corner
An important real estate deal took place this week when Joe Gartner became owner of the Tanner Modine corner when he purchased of Chas. Thompson, the consideration being between four and five thousand dollars. A house and lot in the Wilcox addition, occupied by Henning Johnson was put in on the trade.
Mr. Gartner has no immediate plans for building, but in the no great distant future the corner of W. Main and Second streets, may boast a fine new structure.
The lost was desired for the St. Charles National bank location, but could not be secured at that time.
