I am seaching for Gartner's (Gaertner's) who are descendants of Johann Jakob Gärtner.
Johann's wife was Kunigunde Lauer. Their children were: Georgina Margarethe, Kunigunda, Johann Georg, Katharina, Eva Margarethe, Friedrich, and Rosina.
Kunigunda married Emil Friedrich Wehrsdorfer (later changed to Westover) and thier children were Oscar and Fred C. Westover.
Johann Georg left Germany for Galveston, Texas, adn married Mary Vordenbaum. There are many texas descendants still living in Houston and in Fort Worth.
I am the great grandson of Johann Georg. I am looking for some of the Michigan Gartner's (Gaertner's), and would really aprreciate hearing from you!
