the John Gartner, Jr I am searching for was born 9-18-1832 in Cologne, Germany, died 12-22-1926 in Linneus, Linn, MO. <His father was John Gartner, Sr (b. 11-17-1803 Germany d. 1873) m. Barbara Reinhart, had 8 children ( John Jr, Barbara, Lizzie, Maggie,Mary, David,Dan and Jake>
He married Eunice Fields Shohoney 11-20-1856. They had a sone named Richard Arthur Gartner born 11-28-1876.
Richard married Maudie Mae Vanderpool 1-17-1903. He died in Anderson, MO 8-5-1962.
They had a son named John Marion Gartner (my grandfather), born 1-28-1915 in LeClede, Linn, MO. He married Glenn Hughes 9-19-1936. He died 5-16-1979 in Poteau, LeFlore, Oklhaoma. They had 2 children, Alice JoAnn Gartner (mother) and John Robert Gartner.
This information I have was gathered by my uncle 25 years ago or more. I am trying to confirm some of the data that he had gathered, but am not having a lot of luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. A GED or FTW file could be sent your way, also, if you wanted to see more details.
