Hello Christopher - I've read several of your messages re Garrows and Murisons. You say that your great-grandfather was Francis Murison but not that his wife Margaret Garrow was your great-grandmother. If she was, you are related to my husband through the Booths. Margaret Booth was the sister of his great-great-grandmother Isabel Booth. I've done a fair bit on the Booths and their descendants and keep finishing up in Canada! I take it that you are in Scotland. I was also interested in what you said about the name Murison and its various spellings as my great-great grandfather was a Morrison from Gamrie/Aberdour area.
